WHY must somebody always nitpick about totally irrelevant things? Don't know about anybody else but I'm always using "cutesy" words with my dogs. ANYWAY, so glad The Dude has a wonderful new home. Sharpei are awesome dogs!! I've had two and they are just wonderful!!!

Noneyah, "scritch" is a valid term, used affectionately by dog-lovers. The term scritch, also known as scritchies, skritch, or skritches, is given to the act of gently scratching a pet's back, neck or between the ears in an affectionate manner using one's fingernails (or more lightly with fingertips. On a more relevant note, congratulations on The Dude's adoption!

KydennDudes Mom

Hello from The Dude's new mom! I just wanted to let you all know that The Dude is doing great here in his new home. He loves our long daily walks in the woods around our home, and sleeps faithfully by my 7 year old's bed every night. We are so proud to have him as the newest member of our family!!!

We, at Espanola Valley Humane Society are very happy to report that The Dude has been adopted. Hooray for Dude! His new mom loved his wrinkly face and his new little boy can't wait to teach him to fetch.
