Gertrude the cat had been attacked by a pack of dogs. She was horribly injured. You’d think she’d be afraid of dogs and want nothing to do with one.
But then she met Clementine. The only surviving puppy from her litter. Clementine and her siblings were very sick and abandoned. Vets tried to save them all but only Clementine survived. She was looking for her brothers and sisters but they were gone. Clementine was alone.
It was love at first sniff.
Now Clementine and Gertrude are living in the same foster home as they heal and recover.
More humans should have this kind of compassion for others. Gertrude’s loving spirit is an inspiration to us all.
