Video Shows Bold Tabby Cat Stealing Donut Without a Care

Cats are well-known for their misadventures, and one particular owner claims their pet might be “the most chaotic cat on the internet.” A video of Loki the tabby cat recently went viral as his human tried to figure out who nibbled on her donut. While the cat owner jokingly asked her viewers to guess which of her pets could have done the deed, Loki unapologetically walked up to the donut to grab another bite.

Unapologetic tabby cat shows no guilt over donut theft

Earlier this month, a video of the internet-famous tabby cat, Loki, quickly went viral as he didn’t hesitate to reveal himself as the donut thief. In the Instagram reel, his owner, Danielle, showed that when she walked into her kitchen that day, she noticed her donut had been stolen. It was clearly nibbled on by one of her cats. So, she asked her viewers to guess which of her cats could be the culprit.

As it turned out, Loki was the thief. He unapologetically went for another bite as she held out the donut to her orange tabby cat, Diesel. What made the video hilarious was just as she questioned netizens if they think Diesel did it, Loki grabbed a big bite of the sweet treat. Viewers jokingly noted that there seemed to be a lack of evidence. Many also found it funny how Loki didn’t even try to hide his theft, hinting at the cat not feeling even a speck of guilt after stealing the donut.

Loki resides with his older brother, Diesel, and their parents, Danielle and Alex. The family also cares for an outside kitty named Kobe, as per a recent introductory reel. Several videos of the tabby cat have gone viral. One of the reels also made it into the 2024 Webby Awards nominations for the “Best Viral Video” category. It has garnered more than 5 million likes on Instagram. The viral video captures one of Loki’s attempts at stealing a snack from a cabinet.
