That was the case in a recent Instagram video where a cat appeared to give a big dog permission to cuddle through a series of gentle kisses.

Despite her size, Runa moves slowly and keeps her head lowered near Freya, almost as if waiting to see whether the cat wants company.
Freya’s reaction quickly makes the answer clear. The cat begins licking and grooming Runa’s face while the dog stays still beside her. The affectionate gesture makes it look as though Freya is comforting Runa and giving her permission to settle in for a cuddle.
Not long after, Runa climbs onto the couch and curls up beside Freya. The sweet exchange continues as the dog starts licking Freya in return, with the two taking turns grooming each other while lying side by side. What’s more, their owner added to the moment with a caption written from Runa’s perspective that read, “My morning ritual… Kissing my little sister Freya.” The caption hinted that the affectionate routine is something the pair share regularly.
