Owner Gives ‘Super Spoiled’ Cats a ‘Michelin Star Dining Experience’

Dinner reservations can be hard to get, but apparently not if you’re a cat. Most pets are happy with their usual food bowls, but some lucky animals are treated to meals that look like they belong in a fine-dining restaurant. A recent video took that idea to a whole new level by giving two cats a full Michelin star-inspired dining experience. The effort clearly pays off, with both felines appearing fully engaged from the first course to the last.

Cats get a dining experience like no other from owner

A video posted by Instagram user @tinytyrants_ documents a multi-course meal prepared exclusively for cats Artemis and Charlie. The clip opens with the text, “Giving my cats a michelin star dining experience,” as the pair make their entrance and head toward a table arranged for their special dinner.

The owner begins the culinary experience with a creative first course called a “meowtini.” Designed to resemble a traditional martini, the drink is made from a blend of Churu and water. To complete the presentation, the rim of the glass is coated with gravy and catnip. Artemis and Charlie appear immediately interested, happily sampling the appetizer as soon as it is placed in front of them.

The second course is a whitefish soup, with the owner carefully listing each ingredient on screen during the preparation process. The dish combines whitefish kitty soup with catnip and dried minnow used as garnish. The cats seem more than pleased with the result, quickly finishing the course and leaving little behind.

For the final course, the owner prepares fish filets consisting of tuna gravy, tilapia filet, tuna filet, catnip, and dried chicken hearts. The meal proves to be an instant success. The video concludes with a mock five-star review supposedly written by Artemis. “Very satisfied Customer! Our meal came out quick & it was delicious. What made it even better was the fact that we didn’t have to try and wake her up for it!” the humorous message reads.

In the caption, the owner called Artemis and Charlie “super spoiled,” prompting plenty of reactions from viewers. Many joked that the cats were living better than most people. “Those cats eat better than me,” one commenter wrote. Another said, “I’m blocking you so my cats can’t see this.”
