Feral mama cat’s kittens get adopted
The video, shared by @cabbages.world, explains that the mama cat had been raising her litter on her own while living outside the family’s house. Over time, she began to trust the people enough to let them get closer to her growing kittens. According to the text shown in the video, “One day our favorite feral cat showed us her kittens.”
The creator explains that the curious little felines slowly started exploring beyond their hiding place. Before long, the family noticed them making their way toward the front doorstep, where they spent time playing and investigating their new surroundings. Their confidence continued to grow until they eventually felt comfortable enough to step inside the house to play.
Although the kittens enjoyed visiting, they still lived outside in the backyard alongside their mother while they were young enough to depend on her. The family allowed the felines to develop naturally, giving the kittens time to grow before bringing any of them indoors permanently.
The video later introduces two of the kittens who found their forever home with the couple. “Meet Chips and Gray,” the text reads, describing the pair as “two brothers and best friends.”
According to the creator, the brothers quickly adjusted to indoor life. They have “been very comfy ever since,” though they still enjoy spending time outdoors. Their mother also continues to appreciate being outside, making the arrangement a good fit for everyone.
In the caption, they also shared another important update, writing, “The story of how we adopted our two cats! The other two kittens were also adopted as a pair and we were able to get mom spayed.”
