Video: Makeup Artist’s Cat Has ‘No Boundaries’ With Customer

A makeup artist on Instagram is giving her followers a real look at what it’s like to run a home studio when you live with a cat who believes the business revolves around him. The Instagram user and makeup artist @vannaraemua showed her orange cat, Oliver’s, antics in an adorable video. Throughout the video, the cat steals the entire appointment by demanding constant attention from a customer while she talks business with the makeup artist.

The video opens with the orange cat stretching his paw onto the arm of the customer’s chair, gently asking for her attention. The on‑screen text reads “pardon me” as she gives him a bit of attention before trying to return to her conversation, but Oliver does not accept it. He taps her again. The next line says, “hell yes i’d like to come up there.” She tries to focus on the conversation, but Oliver delivers one more firm nudge with the on‑screen “MA’AM?”

Moments later, he gets exactly what he wants. The video cuts to Oliver now curled up in the customer’s lap. He shifts around, trying out a few different curled‑up positions while she continues her makeup talk and hands her phone and water bottle to the owner so Oliver can have more room. The caption answers for him: “yeah get that stuff outta here.” He soon rests in her arms, with “i am baby” written across the screen.

He melts into chin scratches and head rubs, fully enjoying the moment. Then, as a cat would do, once he decides the attention has run its course, he hops off her lap. The video ends with the words “bye buddy,” as the cat embarks on his next adventure.

The caption on the post jokes that every home‑studio session comes with “a needy, slightly overweight, orange cat COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE.” For this studio, makeup may be the service, but Oliver is definitely the main attraction.
