Mariska Hargitay and Taylor Swift’s friendship

During an appearance on “Late Night With Seth Meyers” in 2015, Mariska Hargitay revealed that she first met Taylor Swift at the Met Gala, where the pop icon expressed her love for “Law & Order: SVU.”

The two later ran into each other at an Ingrid Michaelson concert. After the show, Hargitay and her husband were stranded in Queens, New York City, looking for a ride home. That’s when the pop star offered to drop them off. A few days later, the actor received a text from Swift asking her to appear in the music video for “Bad Blood.”

Recently, in an interview with ET, Hargitay spoke about her love and admiration for Swift and the impact she’s had on the younger generation. “She’s pure magic. There’s nothing she can’t do.”

“It’s been so beautiful to reconnect to that innocence, you know? I think Taylor gives such a beautiful message to kids and unlocks these girls’ emotions,” Hargitay said of the 33-year-old entertainer.
