Video Summarizes Cat’s ‘Crimes’ Against Furry Sibling & Human

Forget CSI; this week’s most entertaining crime scene is in a living room, and the suspect has whiskers. One cat parent decided to document their mischievous feline’s “crimes” in a video that plays out like an episode of Feline Court. From attacking her sibling to hiding out in cupboards, this kitty’s rap sheet is long—and apparently, growing.

Hilarious video captures all the ‘crimes’ cat has committed against sibling and human

Instagram user @freyathesiberian recently posted a video that’s gaining traction for its creative portrayal of their Siberian cat Freya’s “criminal record.” The video opens like a dramatic police series, with the title “PAWS & ORDER: Crimes my cat Freya has committed” splashed across the screen. This sets the tone for a tongue-in-cheek exposé.

The first clip shows Freya casually slapping her cat sibling, Teddy, with no warning and zero remorse, while Teddy sits there wide-eyed and stunned. The video then rolls into a montage of her “criminal history,” complete with labels for each offense. “Indecent exposure” is pinned on her for grooming herself right in front of her human, completely unfazed by the lack of discretion.

“Assault on barber” is the next charge, where she’s caught hissing at the groomer attempting to brush her luxurious fur. However, the most comical of her offenses comes next: “Possession of meowjuana.” Freya is shown rolling blissfully on the floor, completely consumed by the intoxicating effect of catnip. She looks completely “out of it,” embodying the true catnip high with a look of pure ecstasy. Finally, the video wraps up with Freya hiding inside a cabinet, which the owner calls “Evading authorities.” The charges may be lighthearted, but the evidence? Damning and hilarious.

Viewers couldn’t get enough of Freya’s antics, and the comments flooded in with equally funny takes. One user jokingly said, “Despite the evidence, we believe Freya is innocent.” Another added, “You say ‘menace,’ we say ‘misunderstood performance artist!’” While many viewers found her crimes hilarious, a few even expressed sympathy, with one saying, “I bet she had her reasons, so I’m pretty sure of her innocence.”

Freya might be a self-proclaimed “criminal,” but with an adorable face like hers, it’s hard to take her offenses seriously.
