Video of Cat Finding His Way Back to the Owner Ends Unexpectedly

Some pets just decide they belong in every part of the routine. Walks included. That’s the situation in this funny video shared by @boboandvoli, where Voli the cat has clearly joined what was supposed to be a normal dog walk. The account follows Bobo, a three-legged dog, and Voli, his twin-coated feline brother, who now travels with the family in their campervan. According to their owner, Voli grew up around dogs and basically copied everything they do. Walks, meals, naps, all of it. The video begins with the group pausing mid-walk because one crew member has fallen slightly behind.

Cat leads the way after he finds owner in funny video

The video starts with the owner standing on the path just past a corner. They’ve stopped walking. Waiting. Somewhere behind them, Voli the cat is making his feelings very clear. You hear the first complaint before he even appears. A small but dramatic meow came from around the bend. Then he turns the corner.

The moment he spots his owner and the dogs, he lets out another louder complaint. Like he’s making sure everyone understands the situation. His owner calls his name. “Voli,” and his pace changes immediately. The cat speeds up, taking little quick steps to catch up with the group. You can hear the tags on his collar. He reaches his human first and gives a quick leg rub.

But the video doesn’t end there. Next stop is the dogs. They’re standing patiently on their leashes, waiting for him. Voli walks right up and greets them like they’ve all been separated for hours. A little sniff. Quick inspection. Then something funny happens. Voli walks straight past them. The on-screen text jokes, “Voli: excuse me I’ll lead the way.” And suddenly, the cat is marching ahead of the dogs like he’s in charge of the route now. The dogs simply follow behind him.

Several viewers of the video noticed the tiny hops the cat does while catching up to his owner. One person wrote, “He takes his sweet time because he knows he’s the king.” Honestly though. He just didn’t want to be left behind again. It’s his walk time, too, after all.
