If you thought the most thrilling part of DogTime’s annual Petties Awards was finding out who the winners are, you’re partially right. This year, in addition to announcing the best of the best pet bloggers in eight exciting categories, DogTime is giving away thousands of dollars to shelters in need. And you, personally, could decide where the money goes!
Here’s how: Tune in to the 2011 Petties (click here) at 5pm ET, this Friday, August 26th.Two lucky viewers will each win $1000 to donate to the nonprofit shelter or rescue group of their choice. All you have to do is Tweet!
Simply use the hashtag “petties” (#petties) to congratulate your favorite bloggers via Twitter between 5pm and 8pm ET. The two best Tweets, as selected by the official DogTime Petties Awards Committee, will each receive a $1000 donation to a non-profit shelter of their choice.
But wait, there’s more…

Already have the iframe on your site? You’re already eligible!
Folks, this is one awards show you can’t afford to miss. So see you right here Friday, 5pm ET to find out who wins. It just may be you…
* Not familiar with the iframe? This is DogTime’s national data feed of adoptable dogs and cats — the only list developed for and used by the ASPCA. It’s completely free, requires a mere four lines of code, and does not drive traffic away from your site or anything like that. It just allows your readers, if they like, to browse adoptable dogs and/or cats.
