A video of a shy stray cat befriending a woman, opening up to her, and revealing her kittens has gone viral on TikTok. Stray cat has a ‘surprise’ for the human who tried to befriend her

TikTok user @kendallmontunnas had been trying her best to befriend a stray cat she had discovered. In a video, she noted that it took her two weeks to finally have the shy cat fully trust and open up to her. However, the process of befriending the feline came with a surprise, as the cat rewarded the Good Samaritan by revealing her kittens to her.

The Los Angeles resident stated that she knew the stray cat had some kittens. However, on the day the shy cat finally opened up to her, the feline looked quite sad. This led to the woman believing that the kitty might have lost her little ones. However, she was in for a surprise, as the stray cat’s babies slowly appeared from behind a tree after their mama let them know the human could be trusted.

The black feline had two tabby kittens and one who resembled her. One of the tabbies was a little lighter than the other. In a follow-up video, she noted that the darker tabby was braver than the rest. However, she admitted that it could also mean the little one was more clueless than their siblings.

The kitties are growing up happy and healthy, with the TikTok user making regular videos to keep her followers updated. Quite a few netizens are invested in the little ones’ journey, as a video of them went viral. The TikTok post garnered over 3 million views and 735,000 likes. The Los Angeles resident has been feeding the family of four regularly since discovering them.
