The video of their adorable tuxedo cat quickly went viral, garnering over 1.2 million views and 220,000 likes. Lenny Lu’s owner captioned the TikTok post, “Paging Dr. Bow Ties,” with the onscreen caption reading, “This trend but with bow ties.”
The video began with the kitty surrounded by his vibrant bow ties in different patterns. Most of them are from Lenny Lu’s website, which is currently closed while they restock. Like most people participating in the TikTok trend, Lenny Lu switched the only fashion accessory he donned in the video, his bow ties.
The tuxedo cat’s comical expressions made the post funnier. The feline popped up with eyes wide open and ears on alert when the audio clip went “emergency.” Moreover, throughout the song, he could be seen flicking his ears or blinking his eyes to beat, with several fans exclaiming he was “illegally photogenic.” Lenny Lu showed off his bow ties in several patterns, including ones with cute rubber ducks and characters from the children’s song “Baby Shark.”
