The story of an adorable and cheeky cat named Priscilla, who has gained quite the reputation of being a jailbreaker, is getting a lot of attention on the internet. Ohio SPCA & Humane Society, a well-known animal shelter, shared the story of the feline through a post they released on their official Facebook page on Sunday, September 8.
In the caption of the Facebook post, the animal shelter described Priscilla, the cat as a “sweet and sassy girl.” They revealed that the cat had broken into a prison several times to look for food. This is how the cute feline acquired the jailbreaker’s reputation. However, the prison guards could not let Priscilla continue her mischievous activities. They took her to the Ohio SPCA & Humane Society animal shelter.
Ohio shelter takes in cat with record of ‘breaking into prison’
As mentioned earlier, an animal shelter, Ohio SPCA & Humane Society, has taken in Priscilla, a white cat with black and cream orange patches. The cat holds a record of repeatedly breaking into a prison to get some food. The county jail guards could not allow her to break in any longer. Thus, they handed the feline to the Ohio shelter.
In the Facebook post, the shelter disclosed that the cat is near around one year of age. Ever since she came to the shelter, Priscilla has been doing well in terms of getting along with other animals.
The shelter further explained that it can be extremely stressful for the cat to be in a completely new location. Thus, she requires a home where she can loosen up and stay safely. They wrote in the caption, “New locations can be very stressful to her,” they continued, “so she will need a place ready in the home for her to decompress.”
The shelter has welcomed the interested adopters to meet Priscilla at their place. Ohio SPCA & Humane Society is located at 3606 Elida Road, Lima, Ohio.
