International Bandanna Day: 10 Cats Sporting Bandannas To Raise Awareness

October 26th is International Bandanna Day.

International Bandanna Day is believed to have started in Australia to raise awareness of children living with cancer.

I’m sure we all know someone who has or had cancer. People with cancer often have a few bandannas.

It’s not the cancer that makes hair fall out, but the chemo that treats cancer. Bandanas and hats sometimes become a part of chemo patients’ wardrobes. Wearing a bandanna on International Bandanna Day is a way to show support for those living with cancer.
