In the video shared by @the_patrick_susmilch, Patrick is there for one simple job: feeding his friend’s cat while they are away. The plan sounds easy enough, but the cat reacts to the stranger with frozen disbelief, almost like he would like to see some identification first.
Cat reacts with confusion when owner’s friend arrives to feed
Patrick spots the cat almost as soon as he steps inside, but the cat does not exactly rush over to say hello. He stays tucked behind the console table, staring at this unfamiliar man as though waiting for someone to explain what is going on. Patrick immediately tries to reassure him. “I’m sorry, buddy,” he says, before adding, “You’re cute. You’re a cutie.” The cat remains completely still.
Then Patrick gets to the important part: “I’m gonna feed you.” That gets a tiny twitch from the cat, but not much else. Patrick continues, promising, “I’m gonna feed you, and then we’re gonna be best friends.”
The close-up of the Tabby cat’s face makes his reaction even funnier. Some viewers joked that he looked ready to call the police, while another commenter imagined him thinking, “Why are you in my house?” Another commented that “Imma feed you” sounded more like a threat than an offer.
